WILSON, Robert. The Life and Times of Joseph Stalin.
(New York): The Byrd Hoffman School of Byrds, c.1973. Five A4 stapled sheets. A press release for Wilson’s production The Life and Times of Joseph Stalin together with cover sheet calling for performers and an open house event at 147 Spring Street. The Life and Times of Joseph Stalin was a more than 12-hour long opera that incorporated scenes from previous plays, e.g. from The Life and Times of Sigmund Freud (1969) and Deafman Glance (1971), as well as new material. The opera premiered on December 14, 1973 at the Opera House of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Brooklyn, New York. A very good example.
