(London): Thames and Hudson, 1989.  First edition.  Large format softcover.  85 pages.  A two year documentation of the “Haiti Libere” – photographs of Haiti from the departure of “Baby Doc” Duvalier in 1986 to the accession of Manigat in 1988.  The volume charts Haiti’s passage from the initial excitement and enthusiasm at the end of the Duvalier regime to the increasing chaos and ultimately violence of the proceeding two years.  A very good copy in wrappers with integral flaps.  Small patch of rubbing at base of spine and front right corner.  Still a nice bright copy.
