(No place): Dead Beat Club / Little Big Man, [2015].  First edition.  Quarto.  Unpaginated.  Cool limited edition publication juxtaposing black and white images from Waplington’s teenage years living across Surrey and West Sussex during the Thatcher rule when British post-punk youth were politically active and the marches and protests would quickly turn into riots with brightly coloured pictures from Waplington’s series Surf Riot. The surf images were taken during a riot at the Surf Pro Championships of 1986, when hundreds of young surfers rampaged, for no apparent reason, through Huntington Beach, California, overturning police cars and setting the beach alight.  A near fine copy in wrappers secured by elastic band.
