(Occidental CA): [Friends of Morning Star], 1973.  First edition.  Quarto.  188 pages.  A cool history of Morning Star (also known as Morning Star Ranch and The Digger Farm) which was an active open land counterculture commune in rural Sonoma County, California.  Founded in 1966 by Lou Gottlieb the commune was known for its uses of LSD and other drugs, celebration of nudity, and eventual clashes with police, particularly over land use. The history is told through songs, poems, photos, and newspaper clippings.  A very good plus copy in photo-illustrated wrappers.
