(San Francisco, CA): Tattoo Art Museum, 1984. First edition. 43 page booklet. Issue six of this scarce little magazine documenting the history of the art of tattooing. The magazine was edited by Lyle Tuttle who, in many respects, represents the beginning of the tattoo renaissance. This issue includes articles: on the Wagner tattoo machine, a continuing A-Z tattoo history, Soviet tattoos, tattooist Christian Warlich, Mariel tattoos and is illustrated throughout with some scarce imagery. A very good copy in stapled wrappers.
