The Ten Commandments for Gilbert & George.

(Paris): Editions Jannink, 1995. First edition. Octavo. 48 pages. Sweet little artist’s book printing the Ten Commandments of Gilbert and George in both English and French. The text also includes their philosophy behind each commandment. A near fine copy in card covers with paper dust jacket, housed in publisher’s plain slipcase. Published in an edition of 299 copies (of which 100 copies were reserved for La Librarie Mona Lisait). The volume includes an original-coloured serigraph measuring 20cm by 21cm folded in half as issued. The print is numbered and signed by the artists. The volume is additionally signed by them in red ink at the start of the English text and in black ink at the start of the French text.
