(Paris): The Olympia Press: The Traveller’s Companion series, no date.  Pirate edition.  16mo.  Two volumes.  Rare two volume pirate edition of Stevenson’s tale of turned on youth in search of illicit kicks.  Trocchi’s colleague at Merlin, Stevenson under his pen name Marcus van Heller, and Trocchi’s encouragement, became one of Olympia’s most prolific writers.  John de St. Jorre in his book about the history of Olympia Press suggests that “In the netherworld of erotica, the name Marcus van Heller approaches the stature of legend”.  Good copies in printed wrappers, loss to base of spine of each volume.  Probable London published pirate edition.  Scarce in this format.
