Situationist International. Ten Days That Shook the University.
London: BCM/Situationist International, printed by Equity Printers, [1966–67]. Later edition. 21.7 by 14cm. 29 pages. An early English translation of De la misère en milieu étudiant, the Situationists’ celebrated 1966 critique of student life, produced by the English members of the Situationist International. The pamphlet includes the English Section’s postscript, “If you want to make a social revolution, do it for fun.” The striking wrappers consist of détourned comic-strip imagery relating to the Strasbourg affair. Possibly a King Mob publication / distibuted title, this copy with their stamp on the imprint page.
