SIGNANINI, Matteo. La Spezia Dentro.

Super cool volume born out of a photography course held by photographer Matteo Signanini, at the Andreini prison in La Spezia, from September 2016 to May 2017. Under the guidance of Signanini, the prisoner’s composed this photography book, using black and white disposable cameras, they took, developed and scanned the photographs, then sequenced and edited the images, and finally glued the pages of the book. This a near fine copy in stapled and taped wrappers. Rare, published in an edition of just 100 copies, most being taken by the prisoner’s and their families.
