Special black and white issue of this cult magazine that was the underground voice of the Los Angeles Punk Scene 1977-1980. Slash set trends not only in music, but also in street fashion and visual art. It offered tirades against the corrupt music industry and its stars along with endless rants in favour of turning the status quo upside down. This issue features an interview with Lydia Lunch, an interview with Burning Spear, an article on the Specials, and reggae in America who also features on the cover, an interview with Black Flag as well as Jimbo cartoon by Gary Panther, reviews of singles, albums, and concerts. A very good copy with cover image of Winston Rodney (Burning Spear).
