A collection of images culled from the internet where the sellers are offering their used underwear, knickers, stockings, socks etc. Rigolini condenses a subjective selection that outlines a visual language whose signs, gestures and attitudes flirt with eroticism and fetishism. The images shown unchanged elegantly elude erotic stereotypes and common codes of conventional photography. Far from any sociological approach, Rigolini shakes our notion of the photographic representation of the intimate and invites the viewer on a wondrous journey in which misappropriated images transcend reality.
