(Zurich): Edition Patrick Frey, 2016.  First edition.  Oblong quarto.  Unpaginated.  Super cool photographic documentary of Vienna’s Branntweiner,  24 hour bars, which primarily serve only hard liquor.  – a drinking life with a backdrop of divorce, joblessness, illness and other pains. The owners and patrons form families, manifesting as irritant and antagonist, buoy and safety net.  Smaller textual sheets are inserted containing interviews with the bar owners, and the drinkers.  A near fine copy in boards without dust jacket.  This first edition was published in an edition of 700 copies which sold out shortly after publication.
