(Paris): Librairie Plon, 1963.  First edition.  Quarto.  Unpaginated.  Preface by Jean Cocteau.  A marvellously fun and irreverent French cook book.  Oliver provides recipes suitable for children (and grown-up children).  The volume is additionally illustrated by him with colourful, witty line drawings. Classic French recipes include Onion Soup, Croque Monsieur, Cheese Souffle, Souffleed Sardines, Coq au Vin, Steack Hache aux Champignons, Mayonnaise, Bechamel Sauce and Pain Perdu.  A very good copy in illustrated spiral bound boards.  A nice copy of this correct first printing of this best-selling cookbook.
