NYHOLM, Janet. From a Housewife’s Diary.

(West Burke, VT): The Janus Press, 1978.  First edition.  Quarto.  Unpaginated.  The book reads as an exhausted mother’s stream of consciousness, separated by different days and often ending in the middle of a sentence. Descriptions of a thankless existence spent in service of ungrateful family members are plentiful and are paired with the never-ending search to find a place simply for herself.  The volume is delightfully decorated with rubber stamps by Jerome Kaplan. A near fine copy bound by James Bicknell in gingham (dish towel) cloth.  Published in an edition of 250 numbered copies.
