A striking photobook by Chinese photographer Lin Zhipeng, known as No.223—a moniker inspired by the lovelorn cop in Wong Kar-wai’s Chungking Express. The volume offers a candid and intimate portrayal of youth culture in contemporary China, capturing moments of vulnerability, sensuality, and everyday life. Lin’s photographs are characterized by saturated colours, direct flash, and a raw aesthetic that blurs the line between documentary and personal diary.  A very good copy, bare thread-bound, published in an edition of 500 copies each accompanied by a signed C-print by the artist.
