Bordeaux, [Pierre Molinier], 1959.  First edition.  A complete set of the six postcards for the Exposition Internationale Du Surrealisme, Paris 1959.  Offered together (as issued) with a further card illustrated by Molinier that includes an excerpt from André Breton’s preface for the 1956 exhibition Pierre Molinier À L’Étoile scellée; and a final card illustrated by Mollinier and addressed to Monsier R. Baillet.  These last two cards also bear the stamp of the Atelier du Grenier Saint-Pierre at Pierre Molinier’s astonishing address: 7 rue des Faussets, Bordeaux.  The cards measuring approx.  14.5cm by 9.5cm are in very good condition with original pink card cover.  Whilst sets of six and seven cards occasionally appear for sale complete sets of 8 cards rarely do.
