MIROVSKAYA, Alla. Miðnætursól (Midnight Sun).

(Moscow): Self-published, 2015. First edition. A collection of 24 unbound postcards featuring images the artist took in Iceland, occasionally annotated, on the verso in Russian, with excerpts from her diary. The images are shown as fragments emerging unevenly from a white background. However, on closer inspection, it becomes apparent that Mirovskaya has deliberately excluded varying portions of her holiday album. An interesting work, that plays with the ideas of memory. Cards, measuring approx. 12cm by 18cm, are housed in thin card case with two digital prints showing the cards all laid out. Items housed in kraft envelope with title label. Although not stated published in an edition of  just 30 copies.
