An almost exact transcript of the sixth edition of Mills classic work, of the most important economics or political economy textbooks of the mid-nineteenth century. This edition has foreign language phrases translated into English and does not include the controversial appendix about landed property in France. A very good copy, some marginalia, in slightly dusty boards, gilt lettering at the spine.
