(Paris): Multiplicata, 1972.  First edition.  Softcover.  21cm by 13.5cm.  [24]-pages.  Cool little artist book showing portraits, purportedly, of Christian Boltanski aged 2, 3, 5, 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 17, and 20. The staged photographs strangers and friends children were actually taken by Messager during the course of a single day, July 17, 1972 at au Parc Montsouris.  The final photograph is actually of Boltanski but aged 28 not 20 as stated.  A very good copy in stapled wrappers. Published in an edition of 500 copies.  This example signed by Boltanski.
