MERA, Masaru. Masquerade Party.

(Tokyo): Self-published, 1973.  First edition.  Box of thirty photographs taken at a fancy dress party organised by the the “enigmatic” Mariko Furuta at her legendary Shinjuku bar, Nadja.  The box contains a four page booklet with text by the poet Mutsuo Takahashi.  This example signed by the photographer, Mera, on the inside lid of the box, a short letter by the photographer is also laid-in.  A very good example.  Rare.
