(New York, NY): Joe McKenna, 1992. Large folios.  40cm by 29cm.  Two volumes.  Issues one and two.  A complete set of this legendary magazine.  A bold integration of art and fashion. Illustrated throughout, the magazines re-defined style and quickly became a hard to find collector’s item. Published at the height of the supermodel era, McKenna gave his first cover to the most divine woman of all time, the Virgin Mary, who was depicted looking upward and serenely exhaling a cloud of smoke, presumably from a heavenly roll-up.  The issues feature work by Bruce Weber, Mario Testino, Jurgen Teller, Mario Sorrenti, Craig McDean (Comme Des Garcons), David Sims, Steven Klein, Daniel Meadows and many others.  Issues in very good condition.
