MANSBRIDGE, Arthur. Alice in Wonderland A.B.C.

(London): Renwick of Otley, no date. (c.1910).  First edition.  Quarto.  Unpaginated.  A rare Alice spin-off, an Alice alphabet book rhymed and illustrated by Arthur Mansbridge (the father of Norman Mansbridge, who illustrated ‘Alice in Blunderland’).  Strangely the ABC is preceded by an unattributed story called ‘Crabs’ illustrated by Marion Main and followed by the poem ‘Plushy’ by Janet Ritchie, neither of which are Alice related.  The volume is in near fine condition in pictorial illustrated boards with colour frontispiece by Freda Mabel Rose.  Rare OCLC locates no copies.
