KRZYZANOWSKI, Michel Szulc. Neem Nou Henny Zomaar een Werkende Jongere.

(Utrecht): LOVWJ, 1977.  First edition.  Oblong quarto.  Unpaginated.  The first volume in the photographer’s acclaimed series documenting the life of Henny.  Henny grew up in a village in the South of The Netherlands in a family of six.  She dropped out of school at the age of 15 and went to clean offices, then a biscuit factory, and helped her father deliver newspapers. Henny would never have attracted public attention if she hadn’t been chosen as the lead actress in this series. The series begins in 1976, Henny is still living with her parents, siblings, dating Pedro, working the assembly line in a biscuit factory, delivering the newspaper in the morning, and cleaning offices in the evening. She paid the money she earned to her parents.  The photographs track her life over a six months.  A very good copy in spiral bound wrappers.  Small neat previous owners’ name to title page.
