KRIMS, Les. The Deerslayers.
(Buffalo, NY): Self-published, 1972. First edition. 23 photographic plates (5 1/2″ by 6″) and a folding text sheet laid into a printed box with a photographic reproduction to cover. Text by Alex J. Sweetman, sheet signed and numbered by Krims. The 23 plates depict dead deer and their slayers. Krims took pictures of deer hunters who had voluntarily stopped at “deer check stations” so that NYS conservationists could examine the general health of the deer (umm they be dead). A very good example, board edges a little rubbed.
