(Ivry sur Seine, France): Editions GANG, 2010.  First edition.  Quarto.  29.5cm by 25cm.  129 pages.  Volume of Kouyate’s previously unpublished studio portraits.  Spanning two decades the black and white portraits, were made mainly with a Rolleiflex (Tessar 75mm f: 3.5).  These shots, beyond their historical significance, testify above all to the art of staging that African studio photographers were able to demonstrate.  A very good copy in photo-illustrated boards without dust jacket as issued.
