(Japan): Nippon Half Co., Ltd., no date (1970s).  First edition.  Softcover.  13.2cm by 19cm.  Curious promtotional publication edited by Soji Kojima (Dressage / Quarterely Sub etc) for the Japanese Denim company Half. Curious in so much as even though its a promotional booklet only around 18 pages are given over to the company’s denim products, and the great majority of the publication is taken up by the photography of Shempei Asai, cool black and white images from 70s America. The images are accompanied by Yu Suwa’s beat like prose poem America.  Suwa with his translations was responsible for introducting William Burroughs and Allen Ginsberg to Japan.A very good copy in photo-illustrated wrappers.  Super cool, and super rare.
