This volume is dedicated to the memory of George Harrison and fittingly the foreword is by Olivia Harrison. Superb volume of photographs from the early days of the Beatles, the Cavern Club and the german hepcats who were around when the Beatles played in Hamburg. The 41 images (of which 11 are large fold-outs) are finely printed in tri-tone (two runs of black plus warm grey) and image varnished. The text for the book is printed in gold ink onto a rich black background. A fine copy bound in full black leather with blind embossed design to front board. Published in an edition of 750 numbered copies with silver gelatin photographic print of George Harrison housed in ribbon tied black portfolio. Portfolio signed by Kirchherr in gold ink. Both items housed in publisher’s folding solander box.
