(Neuchatel, Switzerland): Editions de Griffon, 1965 – 1979.  First edition.  Large quarto’s.  Four volumes.  Volumes one to four, all published, of the catalogue raisonné of the work of French-Hungarian artist and godfather of Op Art Victor Vasarely.  Designed by Vasarely the volume is profusely illustrated with vivid colour reproductions with transparencies, layovers, foldouts.  Issued as part of the Arts plastiques du XXe siècle series.   All four volumes in near very good condition in dust jackets, with all inserts present.  Published over a period of 14 years complete sets of the first edition, particularly in this condition, are scarce.
