The collaged images are inspired by, and contain titles and texts taken from Jean Genet’s last novel, Funeral Rites, a story of love and betrayal across political divides. The silkscreens measure 66cm by 48cm and are numbered and signed by the artist, printed on Fabriano ‘Roma’ all rag hand made paper. Each print is housed in a titled folder of Fabriano ‘Ingres’ paper. Items housed in an Iris linen box made by Woortman. Some spotting to inside of box and title sheet, otherwise items in at least very good condition. Published in an edition of just 80 copies. Scarce, Worldcat locates just three copies none outside of the Netherlands.
