ISOU, Isidore. Les Lettristes sont irrécupérables jusqu’à la société de l’éternité concrète, paradisiaque.

(Paris): Editions Jannink, 2005. First edition thus. Octavo. 43 pages. Nice little edition of the Letterist manifesto. Isou, the ingenious Romanian poet, artist, economist, novelist, filmmaker, choreographer and theoretician, created in 1945 the last avant-garde movement to attempt to overthrow everything – Lettrism, a movement that would embrace personalities as diverse as Gabriel Pomerand, Maurice Lemaître, Gil J Wolman and Guy Debord. This edition includes the pieces of a torn photograph that the reader is invited to throw into the cosmos thus creating original artwork of inter-participation. The volume is in near fine condition in printed wrappers housed in publisher’s plain, thin card, slipcase. Photograph pieces are housed in glassed envelope with printed instruction sheet. Published in an edition of 285 numbered copies.
