HABICHT, Frank. Young London: Permissive Paradise.
(London): Harrap, 1969. First edition. Quarto. Superb photobook capturing the essence of the era; the eager young things, and the sweet young things, the boutiques and the hip streets, the rallies, the pop stars, and the bedazzled drifters. The two introductory essays, by Heather Cremonesi and Robert Bruce, celebrate and critique ‘swinging’ London and its cultural ramifications. A very good copy, in a very good dust jacket with usual problems to jacket laminate, although in this instant much less than usually encountered.
