GYSIN, Brion. Alarme.
(New York & Paris): Printed Matter & Galerie de France, 2010. First edition. Square quarto. Unpaginated. Nice presentation of Alarme, a calligraphic poem conceived and laid out by Gysin in Paris in 1975 or 77 but never published until now. It consists of about 80 word-like images that reflect his attempted suicide after an operation. They carry on his tradition of working with sounds and words to form his own version of visual and concrete poetry. A very good copy in card covers with paper jacket.
