GRIFFITHS, Stuart. Pigs’ Disco.

(London): Ditto Press, 2013. First edition. Octavo. 84 pages. In this autobiographical work Griffiths brilliantly juxtaposes the grim and gritty reality of life as a British soldier stationed in Northern Ireland during the Troubles with images of the nascent rave scene and drug use in the British Army. The title is taken from the notorious monthly party where soldiers let off steam. A near fine copy in boards with embossed title. Reportedly published in an edition of just 500 copies, and now virtually unfindable.
