Landmark feminist and lesbian underground comic widely regarded as the first continuing self-published comic-book series created entirely by a woman. Produced at the height of the American underground comix movement, the issue combines autobiographical lesbian narratives, feminist satire, political humor, and fantasy sequences in a sharply observed critique of gender relations and 1970s counterculture. Gregory, later celebrated for creating Bitchy Bitch and Naughty Bits, developed much of the material from her earlier “Feminist Funnies” strips after contributing to Wimmen’s Comix. A very good copy in stapled wrappers.
