This book contains Gowan’s, (who was professor of Educational Psychology at California State University), most complete assessment of psychedelic experiences and their potential to help the individual grow and break through barriers. Gowan dubbed it a “book for the 21st century” and his work here is rigorous as he embraces both science and mysticism. Includes an extensive and useful bibliography. A good copy wrappers somewhat soiled and worn.
