GLINTO, Darcy. Snow Vogue.
(London): Wells Gardener, Darton & Co., Ltd., 1941. First ‘cheap’ edition. Softcover. 18cm by 11.5cm. 160 pages. Glinto, (the psuedonym of Harold Ernest Kelly) reveals the evils of the cocaine trade. The work along with Glinto’s first publication Lady – Don’t Turn Over were the subject of an obscenity trial at the OLd Bailey for which author and publisher were fined £200. This a very good copy, a little musty, in card covers with the rare paper dust jacket.
