Short-lived but scholarly jazz magazine, with critical articles by Louis Gottleib and Henry Pleasants. Ira Gitler conducted interviews with prominent jazz musicians and Peter Tamony provided entomylogical pieces on such words as “jazz”, “bop”, and “swing”. Duke Ellington contributed an overview of Jazz to one issue. Slightly musty, otherwise a very fine set in stapled wrappers.
