Scarce catalogue for the first exhibition of graffiti art in Chicago, and one of the earliest exhibitions of graffiti in a gallery environment. The exhibition took place from the 10th of October – 7th of November and featured drawings and paintings by A-One, Blade, Daze, Duster, Futura 2000, Koor, Lady Pink, Phase 2, Quik, Lee Quinones, Rammellzee, Kenny Scharf, Toxic and the United Graffiti Artists. The exhibition also included photographs of graffiti by Henry Chalfant, including work by SEEN, Noc, T-Kid and others. The catalogue comprises 20 pages and includes an introductory essay by Richard Flood as well as black and white illustrations of some of the exhibits. A very near fine copy in stapled wrappers.
