GEERS, Kendell. Point Blank.

(Ghent, Belgium): Imschoot, 2004.  First edition.  Octavo.  Unpaginated.  Interesting work in which Geers, in a gesture part Duchamp and part NRA, has shot a copy of his book seven times.  The book is devoid of any other content, giving the phrase Point Blank a two-fold literal manifestation.  The book in reality is a reference to his activism and his refusal to join the South African Defense Force. He lived in exile in the UK and US until the release of Nelson Mandela. The book in poor condition with bullet holes as issued.
