Details magazine chronicled downtown New York’s edgy fashion and nightlife scene before being sold to Conde Nast and turning into milquetoast. This issue includes text by Mick Farren, Michael Musto, Cookie Mueller as well as a portfolio of photographs from Waikiki by Bruce Weber, and Bill Cunningham’s coverage of Valerie Legaspi’s and the New York street scene. A very good example, of this scarce and early issue, in stapled wrappers with cover photograph by Bruce Weber.
