FINKELSTEIN, Nat. Andy and Friends.

(Amsterdam): AENIGMA books & prints, 2003. First edition. Boxset of five digital c-prints from photographs taken by Nat Finkelstein in the mid sixties of life in and around Andy Warhol’s factory. The images include Andy Warhol, Gerald Malanga, Bob Dylan, and Edie Sedgewick. The prints are each numbered, titled and signed by the photographer. The prints are housed in a hand-crafted silver-padded red cloth box, measuring approx. 32 x 24 cm, which also includes a booklet with a reprint of Finkelstein’s introduction to an interview with Andy Warhol, first published in Cavalier Magazine, september 1966. A fine production published in an edition of just 15 copies (and two artist proofs).
