(Antwerp, Belgium): Cine Empire and Cine Roxy, 1960.  First edition.  Softcover. 21.8cm by 15.1cm and 18.5cm and 12.4cm.  Two small booklets, one providing the Cine Empire and Cine’s Roxy programme for the week September 2-8, 1960 which including the first Belgian showing of one of Felini’s most iconic films, La Dolce Vita.  Accompanied by photographic booklet showing four stills from the film.  Both items in very good condition.   Scarce ephemeral items from the La Dolce Vita which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes and remains one of the most influential films in cinema history. It introduced the term “paparazzi” (from the character Paparazzo, a relentless photographer) and solidified Fellini’s reputation as a master filmmaker.
