The books document the graphic history of American cigar labels, smokers’ segars, and stickers. The volumes feature high-quality illustrations of period labels and commentary on design, typography, and usage.  It has been claimed that a lot of the information is incorrect or fabricated, nevertheless the volumes remain highly popular because of the inclusion of a number of original cigar box labels and edgings as tip-in’s and the unique presentation in a dummy cigar box.  The box here in good condition only, the lid once split and re-glued.  The books are in very good condition, a little ruffling to plate edges were they overhang.
