EYRAUD-Dechaux, Mme le Dr. La Prostitution.
(Paris): Comite D’Education Feminine de la Société française de prophylaxie sanitaire et morale, no date (c.1924). First edition. 12mo. 19 pages. Rare, anti-prostitution booklet, providing a brief history of prostitution, its effects on society, particularly the transmission of sexual diseases. The volume proposes a number of reforms including abolishing the La police des moeurs (the vice squad) and extending the schooling age of girls until they are 14. The Comite D’Education Feminine was founded in 1924, to provide sexual education to young females. A good copy in printed wrappers, some light creasing to cover, some loss to top right corner of some pages (not affecting text). Rare, WorldCat locates a single copy at Université Paris Cité.
