(Paris): Fonderie des caractères d’imprimerie, no date (c.1894).  First edition.  25cm by 17cm.  Unpaginated.  Massive, and impressive specimen book, pages are printed on one side only to prevent ink show-through and to allow for better presentation of each typeface.  The publication includes numerous type specimens, decorative elements, and ornaments, providing a comprehensive overview of the typographic styles offered by Deberny & Cie at the time. The volume includes two fold-out plates one showcasing ‘filets ornes pour affiches’ and the other ‘coins and lames pour affiches’.  A good copy of this wonderful work, in printed boards, cracked at hinges as is common.
