CROSBY, Theo and John BODLEY. Living Arts.

(London): The Institute of Contemporary Arts, 1963. First edition. Small square quarto. 107 pages. The first issue of Living Arts, which was planned to compliment the activities of The Institute of Contemporary Arts, and to develop its own audience for original work and the examination of ideas. This issue includes work by John Goldblatt, Reyner Banham, Geoffrey Gale, a review of Living Cities by Robert Maxwell, and more. Although a short-lived endeavour, just 3 issues Living arts is nonetheless an invaluable document to understand the erratic process of London emerging out of the grey post-war years to a colourful society of plenty. A very good copy in wrappers.
