The volume is less a culinary primer, (although Warhol offers a step-by-step guide to the cooking of a can of Campbell’s condensed tomato), but more a novel way of examining the lives of the art world’s most famous. Louise Bourgeois’ tells us that, “during my student years I did not cook at all. I subsisted on yogurt, honey, and pumpernickel bread.” De Kooning describes the typically Dutch breakfast, his brother Koo’s once cooked for him. Christo and Jeanne-Claude renowned for their dinner parties, do provide excellent recipes, zucchini and garlic soup, and ‘quick and the ‘easy fillet Mignon dinner party’. The volume also includes contributions from Dali, Lichtenstein, Robert Indiana and a host of others. Illustrated with photographs of the artists by Blaine Waller. A very good copy in spiral bound wrappers.  Old signs of paperclip use to first couple of pages.
