CHILDISH, Billy. We Are All Phonies.

(London): Aquarium Gallery, 2003. Limited edition ‘box set’. Produced to accompany the exhibition ‘We Are All Phonies’ at the Aquarium gallery in London in 2003. The box contains a number of objects, including a handmade book, photograph and a dvd. The box is made of rough wood which is hammered and wired together. It measures approximately 9. 5 x 12 inches, and is 2 inches deep. The front panel features an original oil painting by Billy Childish of gallows. Issued in an edition of just 26 (each with an original painted cover). Affixed to the hessian back is limitation label with the artist’s signature.
