Superb photographic documentation of the (American) fifties revival that occurred in Paris in the early 80’s with the formation of two interracial groups, the Vikings and the Panthers. With their love for rock ‘n’ roll these two groups posed, partied and later fought. Chancel was there at the birth of the movement and with his cool black and white images takes us back to the time that the rockabilly rebels ruled northern Paris.
