(New York, NY): Ballentine Books, 1970.  First edition.  Small oblong octavo.  Unpaginated.  The scarcer hardcover issue.  Extraordinarily lucid analysis of people under the influence of media illustrated with photographs by Ken Heyman.  It is stated that the text owes much to Marshall McLuhan who co-authored portions of an earlier version.  A very good plus copy in price-clipped dust jacket.  A nice copy of this important work.
